We are excited to share the results of our clinical study evaluating the effectiveness of our E.Q. Exfoliating Cleanser, E.Q. Rescue Serum, E.Q. Daily Moisturizer in participants with acne prone skin and experiencing acne at the time of the study.
Based on a 8 week clinical study of 36 participants ages 18-45 using the e.q. collection daily
We are excited to share the results of our clinical study evaluating the effectiveness of our E.Q. Exfoliating Cleanser, E.Q. Rescue Serum, E.Q. Daily Moisturizer in participants with acne prone skin and experiencing acne at the time of the study. Recent scientific evidence has shown a correlation between inflammation and acne (more on this in an upcoming post).
Board-certified Dermatologists observed significant improvements in acne, skin irritation, redness, and texture in 1 out of 2 participants after using the products for 6 weeks. Participants experienced significant improvement in acne symptoms after using the EQ Products of up to 60% in the validated Acne Quality of Life (QoL) score by Day 42.
This is a marked improvement compared to Clindamycin, Benzoyl Peroxide, and a combination product of Clindamycin Phosphate and Benzoyl Peroxide (Webster, et. al. 2010). The impact of acne symptoms on participants’ quality of life even significantly improved by 43% on Day 7, indicative of improvements very soon after commencing to use the products.
SUMMARY AFTER 6 WEEKS:
- 74% of participants agree acne has significantly reduced or resolved completely
- 85% of participants agreed that their skin appeared smoother after using the products
- 85% of participants agreed overall skin quality feels better after using these products
- 81% of participants agreed skin texture appears improved after using these products
- 81% of participants agreed skin appears clearer after using these products
